All three classes of applications of all textile materials namely Apparel, Home and Technical textiles are describesd. The apparel section covers the introduction to apparel industry, classification and types of apparels, technology & clothing manufacture, evaluation of apparel quality and aspects of fashion technology. Home textiles cover the domestic textiles, home furnishing and rugs, draperies, curtains and upholstery.

Technical textiles cover architectural and construction textiles, application of textile materials in the fields of filtration, geo-textiles, medical, military and defence, paper making, safety and protection, sports and recreation, transportation and general industry.
